These drawings were made while on a mission trip in the Philippines. I carried a sketch book and drawing supplies everywhere I went. Our band of western people always attracted crowd outside of Manila. So all I had to do was find a place to sit, take out my book and ask a kid if I could draw them. I could have sat all day and drawn if I was not on a schedule The kids loved the attention and were always eager to see the result. I always made them wait till I felt finished to let the see.
